Colbie Caillat’s full name Colbie Marie Ashley Caillat was born in May28, 1985 in Newbury Park, California and grew up in Malibu California as well.She is an American pop singer-songwriter and guitarist. When other kids hang out in the playground, she is the one who hided inside the room playing her piano and singing. The popularity of Caillat's MySpace profile led her to become the number-one unsigned singer in her genre for four consecutive months.

Her first debut album in 2007 named Coco, which is Multi-Platinum album, included hit singles “Bubbly”, “Realize”, and “The Little Things”. The single "Bubbly" peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #2 on the Pop 100. The other two singles followed, "Realize" (#20, Hot 100) and "The Little Things" (#94, Pop 100).

In 2008, she recorded a duet with Jason Mraz, "Lucky". Caillat released her sophomore album, Breakthrough in 25August 2009.In addition, the first single in the album “Falling For You” predicted will break the platinum again in 2009.

Her latest album is entitled All Of You, The 25-year-old began recording 'All Of You' last summer in California and finished up the album between tour dates last fall. The breezy first single, 'I Do,' debuted at No. 23 on the Hot 100 in February and has since sold 154,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Among the songwriters featured on the album are Ryan Tedder (Beyonce, Leona Lewis), while Toby Gad, Jason Reeves and Rick Nowels all have writing credits on "All Of You” and rapper Common is featured as a guest artist on the song “Favourite Song”. Meanwhile, Caillat's boyfriend, musician Justin Young, wrote three songs on the album with the singer, an experience she calls "so much fun. I've never been interested in musicians before, and now having a boyfriend that plays amazing guitar and piano and has a beautiful voice...it's cheesy but it's awesome, because we write these songs about our relationship and it brought us closer together.
